Rainbow International® Celebrates National Women’s Small Business Month

October 16th, 2012 by Rainbow International

October has been labeled National Women in Small Businesses Month by the Small Business Administration. This is a time to celebrate and bring awareness to the opportunities for women in the business world, and we aim to do just that.

Most women don’t know the great success and personal fulfillment that they can experience working as technicians in trade businesses or how opening a franchise business specializing in a trade can lead to viable, respectable career paths.

Dina Dwyer-Owens, CEO of The Dwyer Group® has launched the Women in the Trades initiative, which both educates on and promotes the hiring of women for traditionally male-dominated roles in trades careers as well as provides scholarships to women working within the trades currently to help them achieve the required credentials for their chosen service field.

With franchise opportunities available in markets all across the country, the time is now for women displaced by the economy or those looking at their next business investment to seek out information about The Dwyer Group franchise businesses.

The Dwyer Group is a company known the world over for its franchise brands: Aire Serv®, Glass Doctor®, Mr. Appliance®, Mr. Electric®, Mr. Rooter®, Rainbow International® and The Grounds Guys®. Among the seven brand’s 1,600 franchise locations, about 2 million residential and commercial service calls are made each year.

Rainbow International Now Serving Metro Indianapolis

April 29th, 2011 by Rainbow International

Helping a home or business recover from water, fire, smoke or mold damage requires the latest technology, tools and training. However, local business owner Chris McKinney knows the human touch is equally important during such a time of need.
